Another rumor about Google’s new Nexus 5 2015 is out which says that we will soon be seeing a new Nexus phone. Tech site GeekSnack broke the rumor which says that the new Nexus 5 2015 could possibly be launched in August, along with the release of the final build of Android M.
We posted you about the new Nexus 5 2015 recently and said that this new Nexus device might be released along with Android M as Google has always done with the previous Nexus devices. Looks like we predicted it right and according to the rumor a joint launch of the Nexus 5 2015 and Android M is possible.
It’s still not very clear whether it will be LG or will it be Huawei who will be manufacturing the new Nexus 5 2015. But, according to AndroidPit LG is already working on a smaller version of Nexus 5. So for the time being we can believe that it is LG.
It is being rumored now that spec wise the Nexus 5 2015 will be a 5.3 inch to 6 inch in screen size running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB of RAM and USB Type-C. The Nexus 5 2015 will come in two variants of 64 GB and 128 GB variants. The camera on the phone will be a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The rumor from GeekSnack also says that the Nexus 5 2015 will feature wireless charging and fast charging. Sources also claim that there will be a lot of improvements with respect to design and to make the Nexus 5 2015 more durable resistant carbon fiber is to be used to build a durable Nexus body. The Nexus 5 2015 will sport a fingerprint sensor which will be placed on the back of the device.
With so much of rumors and close sources leaking information about the Nexus 5 2015, we are quite sure that we will soon be seeing a new Nexus device running the latest Android M.
