The only difference between the Z3+ and Z4 is in the name, rest all the specifications and design is similar, looking at the specifications of the Xperia Z3+, it is certainly a powerful Android device. The Z3+ has a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with a powerful 3GB of RAM which will surely give an uninterrupted user experience.
There have been reports and complaints of the overheating issue of the Z3+ by the users while playing high-end graphics games and using the camera for too long. The phone shuts down apps after displaying a message due to overheating. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset is the reason to the heating issues and Sony isn’t the first smartphone maker to have faced this issue. Other mobile manufacturers have also faced similar heating problems with the similar chipset.
On the other hand, Sony has acknowledged the overheating issue and has promised a fix to the issue. For the time being Sony has asked users to turn off the device multiple times during the day to avoid issues. Sony will soon fix the issue with a software update.
